Recognised for their quality artisan sourdoughs, loaves and higher end pastry production this role allows you to make improvements and efficiencies across all aspects of the bakery as well as managing business growth and developing the dedicated team.

Working for an experienced and successful operator you will be tasked with managing all operational aspects of the business; you need to be a strong people person with excellent interpersonal skills as you will manage the various stakeholder relationships, you will manage the operational financials, manage the HR requirements of the business as well as managing the processes and procedures to consistently ensure the highest quality products and a market leading customer experience.

  • Exposure to managing 15 - 20 staff
  • The ability to lead and mentor people
  • The ability to manage operational growth
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of hygiene food and safety
  • Exp. in sourdough production(would be an advantage)
  • Good working knowledge of bread baking and pastries
  • The ability to develop team structure with growth opportunities
  • Extensive bakery or patisserie experience (would be an advantage)
  • Confident in scratch technique, complex process (would be an advantage)
