This role really has it all; a supportive team + company, a beautiful beachside location, a great mentor and a role you can be truly proud of! Due to growth, we require a Sous Chef to join the growing team and help this new menu and reno get off the ground.

What I really need is someone that can truly manage the team. You will have the support of the Head Chef but you will need to be able to run the show, call the shots in their absence and become a crucial part of the management team. You will provide unwavering support & be able to show true leadership.

Ideally you will come from a high volume pub, club or bistro environment. Quality product exposure is a must as is an eye for detail, beautiful plating techniques and the ability to come up with new & successful menu ideas.

Skills you will need to be able to display are:

  • Roster management – wage costing
  • Menu planning/costing
  • Supplier management, ordering & inventory control
  • Waste management
This is a role you can utilise for your long-term career. You will become a part of the family and potentially never want to leave! The plan for this role is that you will grow into the Head Chef within 12 months so the opportunity is yours for the taking.

On offer is a salary of $70-80k + super candidate dependent. There are opportunities to grow within the group and you will never feel like a number.
