The Venue

  • Bustling seaside venue
  • Quality restaurant, bar and function food production 
  • Busy, hands-on role with resourceful, caring operators
Working across three kitchens and leading a motivated team of talented chefs, no two days are the same in this high volume venue. From a la carte lunches and dinners to large scale functions and events, assist the Head Chef in controlling the daily systems and have great, creative input into this operation. 

About You
  • Solid knowledge of modern NZ cuisine
  • Experience working in high volume venues
  • Hands-on Sous Chef with administrative skills
  • Positive person with proven team leadership | 15+ Reports
  • Wedding / catering / function experience will be beneficial
  • Calm, organized, and controlled, and an overall good human

A natural leader, you love working the hot line and run the pass with a foundation cookery knowledge. Experience in ordering, staff management and running a busy service is essential!
