Spring is in the air and as we sashay about the high street soaking up the sun, and sifting through the wondrous latest ranges now at our disposal it does make me wonder; where are all the fabulous sales people?
Having a passion for all things fashion and loving retail as I do it does have to be noted that NZ has some marvelous home grown and international brands offering not only exciting ranges but equally exciting career opportunities.
This does inspire one to wonder - is it time for a career spring clean??? Now is the perfect time to make a move into retail with the excitement of new season stock arriving and Christmas just around the corner. For the shop-a-holic working in retail means not only are you first to see the latest arrivals but you also get to take advantage of generous employee discounts and allowances offered by many retailers. It could be the perfect start to your new season…

Yes with all the media talk of increased unemployment you would think that the quality of staff available would be higher. In our organisation we are finding this market harder to attract and appoint top talent than 12 months ago.
