It’s hard to believe it’s that time of the year already. 2011 really has been a great year for the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.
It’s fair to say that the hospitality, travel and tourism industries have had a cracker of a year. The industry as a whole hasn’t seen so much attention and exposure since the America’s Cup Event. Even though the RWC is over, we’re already seeing a flow on effect with Auckland picking up more events like the recent Triathlon World Cup where the ITU praised the City’s hosting.
We’re now heading into summer, a time that is notoriously busy for our industry, and as the influx of visitors have left our shores it seems that locals are taking advantage of our world class hospitality and are dining out more.
