What’s harder to get in to than Harvard University?

China’s Hamburger university has been said to be harder to get into than Harvard! Set up in March 2010, the University was set up to train owners and operators in everything McDonald’s!

Having been in China, it’s easy to see that McDonald’s is taking off and that it will definitly be one of the world’s growing markets. They even have McDonald’s delivery motorbikes and seperate, outside ice cream stalls.!

According to an article listed on ninemsn, only around 8 in around 1000 applicatants will be excepted into the prestigious school. And apparently the 4000 students set to go through the uni until 2014 will cost the country around $150million yuan!

This Hamburger University is not a one-of-a-kind, being one of 7 locations worldwide, including the largest one in Oak Brook in Illinos USA.

Let us know what you think! Have you got any interesting McDonald’s facts to share? Comment on the blog below.
