I don’t know about you, but as a kid I was always a little weary of the Asparagus. For a start it was green, but it also had that ‘brussel sprout appeal about it. After years of dislike I finally tried again - and man, was I missing out! No summer is complete with the humble asparagus. If you need something quick, just grill it with a bit of butter and salt. Or you can use it as the star of your recipe! It’s ok to eat raw as well, so try it out in a salad.
